Memphis Botanic Garden

Memphis Botanic Garden is a must-visit location for both locals and tourists. Covering 96 acres, the garden boasts a collection of over 30 specialty gardens including a Japanese garden, a rose garden, and a herb garden. The Garden is home to the largest collection of mature trees in the state of Tennessee, featuring over 700 species.

The Garden is also home to a number of unique sculptures and installations, including the imposing 50-foot-tall steel sculpture 'Rosemark' by Mark di Suvero. Visitors can also enjoy concerts and events throughout the year, including the popular live music series 'Live at the Garden.'

The Memphis Botanic Garden has a rich history—it began as a small rose garden in 1953 and has since grown into one of the top public gardens in the United States. In 2016, the Garden unveiled its new state-of-the-art visitor center, which features a gift shop, art gallery, and café.

The Garden is located in East Memphis, just a short drive from other Memphis landmarks such as Graceland, the Memphis Zoo, and Beale Street.
