The Carnegie Science Center in Pittsburgh is a world-class science museum near the banks of the Ohio River. The center is known for its interactive exhibits, including an interactive planetarium, three-story high Omnimax theater, and hundreds of interactive exhibits, making it a perfect destination for families, students, and tourists interested in science and technology. The center was opened in 1991 and has since then been one of the top tourist destinations in Pittsburgh.

Some popular exhibits include the roboworld exhibit that features the world's largest permanent robotics exhibition, an interactive science playground for young children, a weather exhibit which includes a 21-foot tornado simulator, and the USS Requin, a real-life American submarine from the 1940s, which is docked outside the Science Center.

The center also boasts a beautiful indoor miniature railroad that recreates the steel mills and industrial center of Pittsburgh as it looked in the 1950s.
