Antelope Canyon à Page
Antelope Canyon, nestled in Page, Arizona, is a popular tourist destination known for its unique geological structures and stunning beauty. The canyon was formed over millions of years as flash floods eroded the sandstone walls to create deep, narrow passageways. The canyon is split into two sections: Upper Antelope Canyon and Lower Antelope Canyon.
Upper Antelope Canyon is easier to access and navigate. Visitors can walk through the canyon and marvel at the sunlight streaming in through the narrow cracks and illuminating the red and orange sandstone walls.
Lower Antelope Canyon is a bit more challenging to navigate as visitors must climb down ladders and navigate some narrow passageways. However, it is also less crowded than Upper Antelope Canyon and offers unique views of the canyon from different angles.
It is important to note that both sections of Antelope Canyon are located on Navajo Nation land and require a guide to enter. These guides are knowledgeable about the history and geography of the canyon and can provide valuable insights and recommendations for the best photo opportunities.
