Fuente Osmena Circle
Fuente Osmena Circle is a popular landmark in Cebu City, Philippines. The centrally located circle is known for its grand fountain that has become an iconic symbol of the city. The circle was named after President Sergio Osmena Sr., a Cebuano who served as the fourth President of the Philippines. It was built in the 1960s and has since become a favorite spot for locals and tourists alike. Aside from the fountain, Fuente Osmena Circle is also surrounded by restaurants, cafes, and shops. At nighttime, the fountain is illuminated with colorful lights, making it even more breathtaking. The circle is also a venue for events and concerts. A few blocks away from the circle is the historic Basilica del Sto. Nino, the oldest Roman Catholic Church in the country. It houses the famous Sto. Nino de Cebu, a miraculous image of the Infant Jesus that is venerated by many Filipinos.
